A free event from Freedom Studios & Bradford UNESCO City of Film
Saturday 20 October
10:00 – 12:30pm
Bradford City of Film has teamed up with Freedom Studios and the BBC Writers Room to deliver a master class in scriptwriting.

This workshop is for writers of all genres and is based on John Yorke’s 10 Questions method. Mark Catley and Henry Swindell will examine the universality of storytelling structure and help writers create a useful template for making sure their narrative is as strong as it can be, BEFORE they start writing it.

Participants are asked to re-watch one of their favourite films before attending the lecture as Mark and Henry will be going through the 10 questions using these films as a litmus test. (Please choose a well known film, as it helps if the majority of the group has a working knowledge of it.)

This event is free to attend but please book through the National Media Museum box office. http://www.nationalmediamuseum.org.uk/
