Enjoy

A series of films shown in venues across the Yorkshire region will celebrate the very best of films ‘Made in Yorkshire’. From blockbusters like The Full Monty, and The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to classics like Rita, Sue and Bob too! We will encourage cinemas, film clubs and film societies to host screenings, talks and events with a Yorkshire film theme throughout the month of March 2015.

Learn

From pupils in our primary schools to students at our University, film is used to inspire and educate. As part of the summit, seminars will take place about the Bradford film literacy programme as well as talks from the International Film School, Bradford University about their courses in film, animation and TV production.

Make

With a marked increase in film and TV production in Bradford and the wider region over the past 18 months, there are more opportunities for local businesses to benefit from film. Seminars will be held to promote the growing potential, explaining business opportunities within the supply chain to productions. From post production and logistics to catering, the needs of the film industry can be met by local businesses.
