In 2014, thanks to the Tour de France, the world discovered something those of us lucky enough to live, work and create in Yorkshire already knew. Yorkshire is an incredible place full of enthusiasm and energy. And each year the Royal Television Society celebrates the way that passion and dynamism always finds its way on to the screen.

After the triumphant and celebratory 10th awards last year, they will be returning to the Royal Armouries in Leeds for our 11th on the 19th of June. RTS will be celebrating the very best work and people in our industry and still reflecting the way our industry is evolving. They are even embracing the digital age and inviting companies to submit their programmes online.

There will be awards for freelancers, production centres, second screen and incoming productions. Whilst RTS Yorkshire Centre Award will recognise an outstanding, long term contribution to the industry by an individual or company.
So, please don’t be shy. Tell them about your triumphs  to celebrate the incredible talent in our region and reward your hard work and commitment.
Now inviting entries from individuals, broadcasters, and companies based in or working in the region. To qualify for entry your submission must have been broadcast between 1st March 2014 and 28th February 2015 or, for series, the first episode must have been broadcast during that period. You can enter as many categories as you wish.

Nominations must be in by 9th April 2015.
