The three-day summit – hosted by Bradford UNESCO City of film – saw guests attending from across the world for a series of seminars, events and screenings to discuss film & TV production, business opportunities and education.

The British Film Institute said it was particularly impressed with entrepreneurial spirit among talented local film producers and young people keen to be the next generation of filmmakers.

Ben Roberts, director of the BFI Film Fund, who chaired a full day of events at the summit said: “The discussion and sharing of filmmaking experience at the Bradford summit was dynamic and inspiring reflecting what we all know, which is Yorkshire and the north has a well-grounded film and television production industry with exciting filmmakers, enterprising producers and skilled crews.”

Hundreds of people attended more than 25 events across the city.
