Undergraduate courses include: BA Film Studies, BA Media Studies with Cinematics, BSc Media Production & Technology and BA Television Production. Postgraduate courses include an MA in Digital Filmmaking and an MA in Film Studies. The University of Bradford is a Skillset Media Academy, a BBC Partner and is home to The Digital Working Academy  offering students opportunities to  work on professional digital products and services.

Bradford College

Bradford CollegeBradford College, in partnership with Whistling Woods International, have launched the Bradford WWI Film School.   Bradford WWI Film School students can study at the Whistling Woods campus in Mumbai and experience the Indian Film industry first hand. Whistling Woods International is Asia’s premier Film, Television, Animation and Media Arts institute and is rated amongst the 10 best film schools in the world by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’. Courses on offer include BA (Hons) Film, HND/C Art & Design Animation and BTEC Level 2  Specialist Diploma in Photography (Animation).

Leeds City College, Keighley Campus

Leeds City College Hair & Media Make-Up (1yr) some relevant experience preferred.

Shipley College

Shipley College Foundation courses pre-degree or industry start, include: Media BTEC Level 1 Diploma,  Creative Digital Media BTEC Level 2 Diploma, Media and Games Development BTEC Level 2 Diploma and Media Production BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma.

National Media Museum

National Media Museum Changing programme aimed at 7 – 18 yr olds, including animation workshops, movie trailer workshops and 48 hour film workshops as well as Film Extra evening classes and Saturday schools for adults.

Fabric

Fabric Various courses, including Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Photoshop Advanced, work placements.  Seminars at University of Bradford open to Bradford Film Network members.

Cineclub

Cineclub Provides practical filmmaking training and resources for teachers and youth workers across Bradford and the UK. Professional filmmakers work with schools to enable staff and pupils to make films. Cineclub invite schools to an annual screening of their films at the National Media Museum.

CapeUK

Creative PartnershipsCapeUK offer a variety of programme opportunities exploring and promoting creativity, learning and development. Their focus is on long-term partnerships between schools and creative practitioners, including film-makers.

The Northern Film School, Leeds Metropolitan University

The Northern Film School The Northern Film school offers foundation courses, BA and  MA film production courses – areas of specialisation include: The Filmmakers, Animation, Film & Moving, Image Production, FdA Film & Television Production.

Lumen

Lumen Lumen support artists working with media & technology. They offer a range of training and opportunities through audio-visual creative courses.

Screenhouse Training

Screenhouse Training Based in Leeds, Screenhouse Training runs courses for industry professionals, including directors, researchers, production managers and coordinators. They also run media skills and communication courses for specialists, academics, and scientists.
