Ilkley Film Festival

The first Ilkley Film Festival represents a versatile line-up of films and special guests ranging from mainstream cinema to foreign gems. Taking place within two of Ilkley’s most prominent locations Ilkley Playhouse and Kings Hall Ilkley the festival offers you the chance to become truly immersed in film over the weekend. The event will run through from the 14th to the 16th of February. The festival have announced that their official festival patron for the event is Dame Judi Dench.

Philomena – Friday  14h at the Kings Hall 16:30 – £5

When Harry met sally  (25th anniversary special) Friday 14th  at the Ilkley Playhouse 21:30 – £5

Cinema Paradiso – Friday 14th at the Ilkley Playhouse 19:00 – £5

Paul Metron’s silent clowns (with piano accomplishment) Friday 14th 19:00 at  the Kings Hall – £15

A Private Function – Saturday 15th at the Kings Hall 11:00 – £5
Mark Herman directing masterclass with screening – Saturday 15th 16:30  at the Ilkley Playhouse- £5

From the Sea to the land beyond (with accompaniment by British Sea Power) Saturday 15th at the Kings Hall – £15

The Ear (UCHO) (25th anniversary special) Sunday 16th 12:00 at the Ilkley Playhouse – £5

Metropolis (with piano accompaniment) Sunday 16th 20:15 at the Kings Hall – £5

Ilkley through the ages ( Yorkshire Film Archive) Sunday 16th 11:00 at the Kings Hall – £5
