Bradford Film Literacy scores high

The partners in the Bradford Film Literacy project are delighted to announce the final levels of achievement this year. The young people involved in the scheme achieved 4.7 APS writing and 4.28 reading. These are the best levels we have had to date. Thank you so much for the teachers and children for their hard work.

This gives us an average over three years of 4.28 writing over three years and 4.15 reading over two years (reading wasn’t tracked in year one). We continue to adapt and develop some superb case studies on the subject and now have a very powerful case proving the impact of the use of film upon reading and writing levels in primary schools.
