Bradford – Behind the Scenes

BRADFORD FILMS – BEHIND THE SCENES
For the third year running students from Bradford’s Digital Media Academy at the University of Bradford have been creating a series of short films for the Bradford Big Screen.
The theme for 2012 was ‘Behind the Scenes’ and the films will be premiered on the Bradford Big Screen on Thursday 13th November 2012 between 4pm and 6pm. The films will then feature on a regular basis on the Bradford Big Screen.

‘Behind the Scenes’ takes an alternative look at some of the public services in Bradford including:
City Park – see underneath the mirror pool and explore how the fabulous fountains work
The Lord Mayor – meet the team who support the Lord Mayor and learn more about the role and the many duties and appointments that take place in and around Bradford
CCTV  in Bradford; Bradford Bin Men – Out on the rounds with some of the bin men in Bradford; Bradford Library Service; Richard Dunnes Sports Centre; Bradford Parks; Festive Lights.
And following the success of last years film on Women’s Boxing one of  the teams takes a look behind the scenes of ‘Women’s Rugby’

There will be a number of changes with the Bradford Big Screen throughout 2013 and we would like you to become more actively involved. There will be more opportunities to show work produced locally, more opportunities for gaming and interactivity and we are also planning a schedule of family film screenings from Spring 2013.
