Use the City of Film logos and brand

The City of Film brand has been developed to reflect the mission, vision, values, key messages and organisational strategy of Bradford City of Film. A central part of the strategy is that people who live in, work in or visit Bradford see and understand that Bradford is the world’s first City of Film. And that the glamorous and fun tag of being the world’s first City of Film is used by organsiations, people and businesses across the district to help their activity or business, and help to make sure there is a real buzz around Bradford.

We would like to encourage maximum use of the logo and brand. Whether people are taking part in film activity or just using a Bradford business or service, promoting that its happening in the world’s first City of Film is good for everyone. Whether you do that by using the word’s ‘world’s first City of Film’ or by using a logo.

To help you use the brand and logos appropriately, we’ve produced a guide which tells you what logos are available, what formats and how to use the logos and straplines and what text to use. Download the guidelines here. Once you’ve had a good look you can download JPEGs of the relevant logos below. All you need to do is to use the form to let us know who you are, what type of organisation you are and what you want to use them for and agree to the User Agreement. Using the logos on a film?

We would love all Bradford filmmakers to put on their credits that their film has been made in Bradford, the world’s first UNESCO City of Film. Where the logo is used, however, we would also need the short disclaimer (below) to go with the logo.

“Bradford City of Film Limited does not make any endorsement of, or accept any liability for, any of the content of this film, including but not limited to the obtaining of any necessary consents and/or approvals for ensuring that the film’s content complies with all relevant laws.”


Are you a Bradford based business?

City of Film and Bradford Chamber are working together to encourage Bradford Businesses to make the most of the City of Film status. There’s a page on the Bradford Chamber website where you can download some specific guidelines and suggestions for businesses.
